This catalog is still in development but has many new features including, by school choice, renewals, holds and displaying of items checked out in My Account for all users with their user barcode and pin. There is a suggestion box with the new catalog that we encourage users to use.
Your suggestions as how to improve the catalog display are taken seriously by INFOhio, so please let us know how you would like the new catalog improved. Students are welcome to make suggestions too, but please remind them that they should not give us suggestions for materials to purchase as we do not purchase new materials for your libraries.
INFOhio at MEC will continue to support our old catalog, particularly for elementary students until the new Cat, Jr. is available.
In addition those using the online catalog for reserving video materials from the South-Western Video library and the Worthington EMC should continue to use the old Web2 opac.
The new online catalog does not allow for a message to be sent with your saved list of materials you are requesting. If you do use the new Cat 2, you will need to e-mail the saved list to yourself and then forward it with a message to your Video Library or EMC.
