Reflection FTP Information
FTP Files (File Transfer Protocol) Reflections Version 6
To use files in your MEC account (fiscal, student, EMIS) you will need to transfer the specific file from your MEC root directory to your PC hard drive. You will use the Reflections FTP client for this purpose. You may then use the file in a Microsoft Office product such as Excel or a database. The file can also be copied to a diskette for transfer to other users.
  • To transfer a Word document save it as a text file.
  • To transfer your 5-year forecast, save it as a comma delimited file.
  • To transfer Adobe Acrobat pdf files, save these as binary.
  • To transfer a student service file, transfer only .TAR or .PRT files.

Choose File from the menu and select New Session.  Choose Reflection FTP-FTP Client.
