The Metropolitan Educational Council Data Center is a member of the Ohio Education Computer Network (OECN).  This network provides services to all public schools in Ohio. 
 
As one of the 23 Designated Data Acquisition Sites, MEC Data Center is responsible for data collection for the Education Management Information System (EMIS - S.B. 140).

The Technology Committee regularly reviews the status of the ongoing growth of the Data Center and any new services the schools may need to establish. It's their primary goal to keep the schools growing in the new technology that is ever changing.
